These 20 Utah towns have the highest median household income in Utah. This list is taken directly from the 2010 U.S. Census. The Census Bureau defines “median household income” to include that of every person in a household, regardless of marriage or family relation.
Granite is a census-designated place near Sandy. The area’s boundaries begin with the eastern edge of Sandy, then includes most of Little Cottonwood Canyon, up to Snowbird. The 1.5-mile area included 609 households in 2010. The median household income in Granite was $108,343.
Summit Park had 2,241 households in 2010; 47 percent included children, 70 percent included a married couple, no word on how many included adorable dogs like these pictured. The median household income in Summit Park was $88,477.

South Snyderville Basin is about 4 miles northwest of Park City and encompasses 10.9 square miles. In 2010, the U.S. Census counted 1,226 households. The median household income was $86,116.

Olympus Cove is located in Salt Lake County, in the shadow of Mount Olympus. This community had 5,575 households in 2010, with a median income of $84,684.
Alta is the smallest community on this list, with only 67 households. The residents there earn nice paychecks — a household median of $81,250.
Woodland Hills is a tiny community near the Provo-Orem area that only covers about 2 square miles; near the Provo-Orem area. Only 220 households existed there in 2010, but the median household income was $80,854...not so tiny.
Highland is neighbors with Alpine (number 12 on our list). Its 1,804 households had a median income of $80,053.

The residents of Fruit Heights earned a median household income of $79,192 in 2010. There were 1,256 households counted.

Another census-designated place, Little Cottonwood Creek Valley is in Salt Lake County. It’s right next to Cottonwood and encompasses 2.6 miles. In 2010, the area had 2,223 households with a median income of $77,652.
South Jordan residents enjoyed a median household income of $75,433 in 2010. The Census Bureau counted 7,507 households that year.

Farmington, in Davis County, is a small community with 3,087 households. The median income there was $74,250.
Alpine is a little town in Utah county, snuggled up to American Fork canyon. Its 1,662 households had a median income of $72,880 in 2010.
The 6,305 Draper households counted in the 2010 census enjoyed a median income of $72,341.

South Weber is in Davis county; it covers roughly 4 ½ square miles. In 2010, the number of households was 1,080, with a median income of $70,656.
Bluffdale has grown quite a bit during the last five years; it would be interesting to see where it falls on the list today. The 2010 census reported that the median household income was $66,615, with 1,112 households counted.
Holladay had 5,096 households in 2010, with median incomes of $66,468.
Sandy has the largest number of households on this list: 25,737. The median income in 2010 was $66,458.
Tooele County made the top 20 list with Stansbury Park’s median household income of $66,295. The town had 701 households in 2010 (Erda didn’t quite make my list, but came in at #25).

You might be surprised to find Park City this low on the list; a few of its surrounding towns are counted separately by the Census Bureau, so they’re higher up. Park City still reported a healthy median household income of $65,800 with 2,705 households.
Elk Ridge, in Utah county, is a small community of only 2.7 square miles. In 2010, the Census Bureau counted 413 households with a median income of $65,511.
