The Beehive State has thousands of hiking trails, and most people in Utah will find that they have several within just a few miles of their homes. The Potato Hill Trail is one such trail, and it’s a fairly short hike that offers up some beautiful views.
The Potato Hill Trail is part of a large trail system in Corner Canyon, near Draper. You'll find the trailhead right off Traverse Ridge Road, where there's a parking lot with restrooms.
Most hikers combine Potato Hill Trail, Red Potato Trail, and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail to make a loop. The hike provides lots of great city views...
While a small section of the loop takes you through a shady spot, much of the trail has full sun exposure, so make sure to bring sunscreen and plenty of water.
