National Nacho Day is November 6th! Celebrate with a plate piled high with the best nachos in the Beehive State. You’ll find them at Porcupine Pub & Grille, with two locations: near the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and Cottonwood Heights, at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Whether you're looking for a tasty dinner after a long day of skiing at Brighton or Solitude...
...or you want to grab a bite after the Utes game, Porcupine Pub & Grill is the place to be. Both locations have great service, warm and welcoming dining rooms, and absolutely delicious nachos.
The nachos here are vastly superior to any other nachos in the Beehive State. Blue and white tortilla chips are layered with tons of cheddar jack cheese, then topped with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, scallions, olives, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and cilantro.
Even the small order is piled high on the plate. Dine on the patio at the Cottonwood Heights location for excellent canyon views to accompany your nachos.

These nachos are designed to share, and when they bring 'em to the table, don't be surprised if the folks at the next table over start eyeing them with jealousy. A few minutes later, you'll notice the server bring them a heaping plate of nachos, too!

Pro tip: Ask your server to bring you a side of chile verde with your nachos.
Whether you're dining for lunch or dinner, you'll have plenty of great options for entrees. The fish and chips always gets high marks here, and the pizza, sandwiches, and salads are all delicious...
...but our favorite is the huge chile verde burrito. After those nachos, you'll have trouble eating it all, so get a box, and you'll enjoy a delicious lunch tomorrow.
Everything at Porcupine Pub & Grill tastes better when accompanied by an ice cold beer. They have more than two dozen on tap to choose from.
Porcupine has all your Utah favorites, including Bohemian, Wasatch, Squatters, Moab, Redrock, Epic, and Uintah.
Don't skip dessert at Porcupine - it's really too decadent to miss. The chocolate porcupine is the signature dessert, and it's a rich, delicious treat.
Other desserts include bread pudding, cheesecake, tiramisu, and an array of cakes. Ask your server for the special, and make sure to get it with a side of vanilla bean ice cream.
