Brigham City is famous for its peaches, and Peach City has been serving up thick, creamy peach shakes for decades. When you’re craving a juicy burger, hand-cut fries, and a tasty shake, you’ll want to pay this little family-owned spot a visit.
Peach City got its start in 1937, after Bill Harris graduated from Utah State University and moved into the area. He set up a little store and began offering banana splits and limeade.
Bill eventually built a larger drive-through restaurant at 306 N. Main Street, and it's still there today.
In the 1950s, high school students Harvey Morgan and Bonnie Baty met while working at Peach City. They fell in love, married, and eventually purchased the restaurant from Bill when he retired.
Nowadays when you visit, you'll still enjoy that same retro charm that Peach City has maintained since its earliest days. The service is friendly, and the food is great!
The fries are so good that KSL named them "Best Fries In Utah," and you'll agree once you give 'em a try!

The classic "Big Joe" burgers are long-time menu favorites. They include a third-pound burger and are topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, and ketchup. Add cheese and bacon for an even better burger.
Peach City makes its own ice cream, and you'll find different seasonal flavors throughout the year. Try a hand-scooped cone, sundae, or banana split...
...or dig into a thick shake. Choose from soft-serve or hand-scooped ice cream. The peach shakes made this place famous, but they also offer 19 other delicious flavors.
Peach City is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday til 10 p.m. This charming little drive-through is closed on Sunday, so get your burger, fries and ice cream fix before then.
Check out Peach City’s website to see its full menu, and make sure to follow the restaurant’s Facebook page to see what’s new there this week. Have you dined at Peach City? We’d love to hear about your experience in the comments.
