Park City is one of our favorite towns, and we particularly love its Main Street. Chock full of things to see and do, this historic street is a blast to explore on foot…but it also has a pretty steep incline. Luckily, you can hop on this adorable mountain trolley to give your feet a rest.
Park City's Historic Main Street is full of things to see and do, and the free trolley makes it even more fun.
The trolley operates every day of the week, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., so no matter when you're visiting, you'll be able to catch a ride. Look for one of the trolley stop signs, or simply watch for the trolley, then give the driver a wave to hop on. Hop back off wherever you'd like.
There's so much to take in that you'll want to allow yourself at least several hours to explore Main Street. Start with the Park City Museum, which is full of all kinds of cool exhibits and historic artifacts. It's open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m . to 6 p.m.; Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
Do a bit of shopping while you're here, and support Park City's small businesses. Browse for books and grab an espresso at Atticus Coffee Books & Teahouse. It's open seven days a week.
Main Streets hosts all kinds of events throughout the year. During summer months, visit the Park Silly Sunday Market for fresh produce and local arts and crafts, and check out other events like the Park City Kimball Arts Festival and Savor the Summit.
