Moab Backyard Theater is located just off of Main Street in Moab. You will find this unique outdoor theater underneath a giant cottonwood tree.

This outdoor theater is designed for an entertaining, hilarious, and enjoyable night for the entire family. The theater itself is very simple with a small stage, chairs, tables, and occassionally hay bales to sit upon. Seating is limited so you’ll want to arrive early to purchase your tickets.

However, the causal atmosphere is just one of the best features of this outdoor theater. Outdoor food and drinks are welcome so you can always grab some dinner and enjoy a show while you eat.

Shows are typically four days a week and range from live music to magic. Some shows are free, while others do require a small ticket fee. Also, the shows are weather permitting and may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions.

While each performance will have you clapping along and loving every minute, the magic shows are some of the most popular and designed for both kids and adults alike. You’ll see all types of magic tricks in this one-hour show from an experienced magician. In fact, we dare you not to smile during the show — it’s impossible!

This outdoor theater is seasonal with performances scheduled between May and October each year. This gives you plenty of opportunities to attend multiple shows.
