Here in Utah, it is easy to find a good sandwich. All over the Beehive State, there are sandwich shops and delis that are worth visiting. But, located in three locations in the Salt Lake Valley, Caputo’s Market and Deli may be one of our favorites. Not only does Caputo’s serve some of the best sandwiches in Utah, but you can also pick up high-quality ingredients to make something extra special at home. It’s one place to eat that you may just find yourself coming back to over and over again.
Caputo’s Market and Deli dates back to the late 1990s when its first location opened in Salt Lake City’s historic Italian and Greek neighborhood. Today, you’ll find three locations in the Salt Lake Valley: downtown, 15th and 15th, and Holladay.
However, it doesn’t matter which location you visit, you are going to meet friendly employees, a variety of products, and some of the best sandwiches in Utah.
The menu is packed with various sandwich options that are each filled with meats, cheeses, and other toppings. These sandwiches aren't small and you'll be tempted to share them with friends or family — but don't! These sandwiches are too good to share.
One of the most popular is the Caputo, which features prosciutto, mortadella, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, olive oil, and balsamic. There are also options like hot pastrami or meatball sandwiches, which may make your taste buds do a little dance.
Enjoy delicious, large, and flavorful sandwiches when you visit Caputo’s in Utah. It’s a stop that you'll never regret making.
