A trip to Hawaii sounds wonderful, but it’s not always possible to hop on a plane and spend the week loafing on the beach and eating delicious island food. Luckily for Utahns, we have a great restaurant that serves up tasty island fare, and you’re going to want to visit one of its locations before the summer’s over.
Utah might be a land-locked state, but it's also home to some of the best Hawaiian food on the mainland. Visit one of the 10 Mo' Bettahs locations to try some!
Locations include Ogden, South Jordan, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Midvale, West Valley, Salt Lake, Bountiful, and Logan. Shown is the Midvale location. Address: 7101 Bingham Junction Boulevard, Midvale, UT, 84047
This little chain was started by brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack, who opened the Bountiful location back in 2008. People loved it so much that they kept adding locations, and now just about every Utahn can find a Mo' Bettahs nearby.
The menu is pretty simple. Choose from steak, chicken, pork, and shrimp, or get the combo platter with two meats. Each meal comes with rice and either macaroni salad or green salad.
Save room for a huge slice of Chantilly cake. This divine dessert consists of a rich chocolate cake topped with vanilla cream frosting and macadamia nuts. Yum!
Each Mo' Bettahs location has a slightly different decor, but they're all tropical island-themed, with a laid-back, friendly vibe you'll love. All 10 locations have the same hours: Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed on Sunday.
Check out Mo’ Bettahs’ website to see its full menu and addresses for all 10 of its locations throughout Utah, and follow the restaurant’s Facebook page to see what’s new there. Do you have a favorite menu item at Mo’ Bettahs? Tell us in the comments!
