Halloween is right around the corner, and it’s time for some tricks and treats. If you’re looking for a unique holiday experience this year, head to Loveland Living Planet Aquarium.
The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is the perfect place to visit when the weather gets chilly. It's home to all kinds of wildlife, from ocean creatures to penguins to river otters.
You'll find the aquarium in Draper, and it's open for guests with advanced reservations. The first entry is at 10 a.m., and the last is at 5 p.m.
From October 1st through 31st, stop in to see this place transformed into a Haunted Aquarium.
When you arrive, stop by the information desk to get a scavenger hunt, then watch for Yeti, the Kraken, and other mystical beasts.
The animals are taking part in the fun, too! You'll see Halloween-themed decorations all throughout the aquarium. From special holiday enrichment items for the Giant Pacific octopus...
...to the skull-and-bones decorations in the Goliath bird-eating tarantula habitat, everywhere you look, you'll find creepy, crawly Halloween fun.
Some of the creatures here are naturally dressed for the season in black-and-orange!
Wear your Halloween costume and join in the fun for trick or treating on October 24, 25, 30, and 31.
Masks are required for all visitors, so make sure to bring one along.
On October 24th, hang out on the Rio Tinto Kennecott Plaza and enjoy Frights Under Lights with Halloween tunes and a light show on ECCO.
You'll need special tickets for this event that includes a costume parade, and kids dance party, too! It takes place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
