When the weather in Utah heats up, you’ll want to cool down. One of the best ways to do so is to visit one of the lakes in the Beehive State. Utah Lake has plenty of recreation opportunities, and if you want to have some fun in the water you don’t even need your own boat.
Are you ready for some cool water fun? Head to Utah Lake, where you can spend the day paddling, pedaling, or sailing on the water.
Rates start at just $10 for the first hour; $5 for each hour after. The marina is open for rentals Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Learn to sail on one of the marina's sailboats. Little Walker Bay sailboats don't require any experience, and you and a partner can jump aboard and give it a try. Get a larger Day Sailor if you have a little experience, or hire a licensed captain for just $25 an hour to teach you.
