We love to tell you about all the great restaurants in Utah, from the best places to get tasty Mexican food, to the most romantic dining spots that are perfect for a special evening out. But let’s be honest. Sometimes, all you want is dessert. At this awesome Salt Lake City restaurant, you can bypass dinner completely and go straight to the good stuff.
Last Course Dessert Studio is located at 115 Regent St., Salt Lake City, UT 84111. It's just a block or so from Eccles Theater and City Creek, so after an evening of theater or a day of shopping, you can pop in and enjoy a decadent treat.
There's something on the menu to set every tastebud tingling. If you love chocolate, the Chocolate Brownie Bomb will make you swoon. The brownie base is layered with white chocolate mousse and milk chocolate custard, then enrobed in a chocolate ganache.
For something sweet and light, try the lemon stack. It's 35 layers of crepes and homemade lemon mousse, topped with fresh berries and drizzled with white chocolate sauce.
You've never seen desserts like these - they're one-of-a-kind confections. The Strawberry Nachos pair wafers of European chocolate with a sweet raspberry salsa.
Every single dessert is a work of art, lovingly hand-crafted with only the finest ingredients. After all, if you're going to blow your diet, you may as well go big, right?
Desserts are just one half of the offerings at Last Course Dessert Studio. They also specialize in homemade ice cream. With 21 flavors to choose from, you might feel a little overwhelmed. Order a sampler so you can try more than one.
You'll want to take a pint home with you. Choose from creative flavors like strawberry balsamic, smoked maple bacon, gooey brownie, and rosemary & honey. You'll want to work your way through the menu, one pint at a time.
Whether you want to share a dessert or two with friends, or enjoy a dessert all by yourself, you're going to want to pay a visit to Last Course Dessert Studio soon. It's open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m..
