Summer is almost here, but in the meantime, Utahns are ready to get out in the fresh air and have some fun. Luckily, Utah’s favorite attraction just opened for the weekends.

Over the last couple months, Lagoon has been getting ready for the 2018 season.

They're all ready to go, and Lagoon has announced that it's open on weekends through April and May. In April, you can visit on Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM. In May, expanded hours are 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturdays and 11 AM to 6 PM on Sundays.
If you grew up in Utah, a trip to Lagoon takes you right back to your childhood.

The park still has many of the classic rides that you enjoyed as a kid, but it also has some plenty of modern rides that will provide some heart-stopping thrills.
Ride the classic wooden roller coaster.

Built in 1921, it's over 80 years old and one of just a few wooden coasters left. It's not as thrilling as the flashy new coasters, but you'll feel nostalgic for your childhood on this ride.
Enjoy a throwback to the 1980s on the Tidal Wave.

If you're a child of the 80s, you'll remember the Tidal Wave as one of the first "big" rides you went on as a kid.
Hang out on the Sky Ride.

The easiest way to get from the north side of the park to the south side (or vice versa), the Sky Ride glides over Lagoon, giving you views of the gardens below, and providing excellent people-watching opportunities.

The Cannibal was installed in 2015, and it's been terrifying riders in the best way possible ever since. You'll reach speeds of 70 mph and go on a wild ride that you'll never forget.
Lagoon isn't just for thrill seekers - the littlest visitors will love Kiddieland.

From the classic Bulgy the Whale to the Flying Tigers (shown here), there are plenty of thrilling rides for younger kids.
Bombora provides twists, turns and plenty of thrills.

A favorite in Kiddieland, Bombora takes young riders and parents 1,040 feet for some thrilling, twisty, rollercoaster action.
Take out some of that repressed aggression toward your little brother on the bumper cars.

Visit Pioneer Village where you can enjoy a bit of the Old West.
