Quite often, you’ll find the best of the Beehive State tucked away in a small town. These hidden gems are one-of-a-kind and favorite locations for locals. That’s the case with Idk Barbecue, an award-winning barbecue restaurant in Utah. When you are hungry and craving perfectly-cooked meats and tasty sides in Utah, this is the place to go.
Idk Barbecue serves all-American barbecue in a small town. This restaurant has locations in two very small towns in Utah: Huntsville and Tropic. The small town of Tropic is located in the southern part of the state, outside of Bryce Canyon National Park.
This award-winning barbecue restaurant was established in 2014 and right away it captured the hearts of locals. As you walk into this restaurant, you’ll notice it isn’t anything fancy but there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu is pretty simple. You can order plates with your choice of one to three meats. The choice of meat available includes brisket, pork, and sweet chicken.
There are multiple side dishes to choose from and each one is tasty. Side dish options include coleslaw, potato salad, cornbread, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese.
Make sure you don’t leave Idk Barbecue without some peach cobbler. Your cobbler is served with whipped cream on top or you can add a scoop of ice cream for an additional charge.
If you are in southern Utah, you may even spot the Idk Barbecue Food Truck driving around. Don’t be surprised if you see a line as this truck serves many of the favorite dishes from the restaurant.
After a day exploring Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah or even a day on the water at Pineview Reservoir near Huntsville, you need something to fill your stomach, and Idk Barbecue is the place to go.
