There’s nothing we love more than an old-fashioned drive-in with classic burgers, fries and shakes. Luckily for us, Utah has tons of these great little restaurants that have survived for decades. Here’s one that’s been around for nearly 60 years, and it’s still just the same:
Iceberg Drive In opened back in 1960, and it really hasn't changed much over the years. It's still serving up tasty burgers and fries, and some of the best thick, creamy shakes in the Beehive State.
You can use the drive-through window, or walk up to the outside window to place your order. Take your food with you, or settle in at one of the outdoor picnic tables.
The dining room is tiny, and only has five or six tables. Some of the booths have been here for decades, and you'll love looking at all the vintage signs on the walls.
...but the shakes are the real star of the show. These might just be the best shakes in the Beehive State. Even the "mini" sized shake towers over the rim of the cup.
The shakes come in dozens of flavors, and you can add extras in to make your own special shake. These are thick shakes, and you'll need a spoon to eat them. Be careful...these things are downright addictive.
On a hot, summer night you might wait awhile for your order - the line gets pretty long. It's worth the wait! After all, the folks here at Iceberg have had nearly six decades to perfect these shakes, and they're unlike any other.
