Utah’s 43 state parks cover more than 95,000 acres, and each offers unique adventures. During the holiday season, there are three state parks in particular that celebrate in style with stunning light displays. Make plans now to visit Utah Lake State Park, Willard Bay State Park, and Jordanelle State Park.
The Fantasy at the Bay light display at Willard Bay State Park has a long-standing reputation as one of the best displays in northern Utah.
Drive through tunnels of twinkle lights, past ships and other nautical-themed displays. You'll tune your car's radio to a special channel, and the music will synch up with the lights.
Every Friday through Monday during the holiday season, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to say hello. You can also ride the holiday train and enjoy snacks from the Fry Me to the Moon food truck.
Ticket prices are $20 for Tuesday-Thursday visits and $25 Friday-Monday. Tickets at the gate cost $5 more.
Learn more about all three light displays on the Utah State Parks website, and follow its Facebook page to see updates from all the parks around the state.
