Fall is the perfect time to visit Utah's Hogle Zoo. The animals are more active as the weather cools off, and you'll enjoy the fall foliage at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. But this October, you might want to make plans to visit the zoo after dark...
On ten special nights this October, the zoo turns into a fun, Halloween-themed festival of lights. Boo Lights takes place on October 5th & 5th, 11th-13th, 17th-20th, and October 26th, 2018.
Check out the graveyard, visit Pirate's Lair, and see if you're brave enough to handle the land of spiders. You can also ride the train, see animal presentations, and create some Halloween crafts.
Don't miss Boo Brew! Hogle Zoo's Zoo Brew events are adults-only, and you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer while you visit the zoo. Boo Brew takes place on October 10th, and all proceeds go directly to animal conservation.
You'll need advanced tickets for Boo Brew, which always sells out. Click here to purchase tickets online.
Hogle Zoo is located at 2600 Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake City, UT 84108. Visit the zoo’s website for more information. Have you attended Boo Lights in past years? Tag the friends and family that you want to go with you this October!
