After a long day of hiking, biking, skiing, or boarding, there’s nothing like a thick, juicy steak for dinner. When you’re exploring in Park City you have several choices when you’re looking for steak, but if you want a truly humongous slab of beef, you’ll want to head to Grub Steak Restaurant.
Grub Steak Restaurant has been serving the most mouthwatering steaks in Park City since 1976. This place is always full of hungry carnivores, so they must be doing something right! Visit the Grub Steak at 2093 Sidewinder Dr., Park City, UT 84060.
This place exudes Wild West charm, and its walls are covered with western decor, memorabilia, and photos. The service here is always fast and friendly.
If you're ready for a hearty meal with huge portions, you've come to the right place. Start with the jumbo artichoke, but be careful not to fill up too much before your dinner arrives.
Carnivores with large appetites are sure to love the largest steak on the menu. The Tomahawk rib eye is a massive, bone-in steak that takes up the entire plate. This beast weighs in at an impressive 40 ounces!
Part of this steak's weight might be due to its bone, but it also measures in at an impressive two inches thick. You're definitely not going to be hungry after tackling this steak.
Not in the mood for a Tomahawk, but still feeling ravenous? You're in luck - Grub Steak has not one, but two huge steaks on its menu. The 28-ounce prime rib on the bone is only slightly smaller than the Tomahawk.
Chef Bryan Moody has been grilling steaks here for more than 36 years, and he definitely knows what he's doing. The Tomahawk, prime rib, and every other steak on the menu is guaranteed to come out of his kitchen grilled to perfection.
This place is almost always packed, especially during ski season, so make sure to make advanced reservations. The Grub Steak Restaurant is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, with extended hours to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
