There’s something special about a family business, especially a family restaurant. The Burger Bar in Roy is the ultimate family-owned and operated restaurant in Utah. Three generations have managed and worked in this award-winning burger joint, changing little with the recipes and ensuring every burger and milkshake is delivered to perfection.
The Burger Bar has been a favorite place to eat in Roy since 1956. This Utah restaurant began when Ben Fowler and his wife Rita decided to take a risk and open this tasty place to eat.
The two of them managed the small burger joint on their own for quite some time, and eventually, their children helped out. Now, Ben and Rita’s grandchildren are doing all they can to make the Burger Bar maintain the same charm and flavor that has been keeping locals coming back for more than six decades.
When you visit, you'll notice that this award-winning restaurant is a bit unique. There’s no inside dining and you simply walk up to the window and place your order.
The Burger Bar serves many American favorites including a large selection of burgers. You can order everything from a triple cheeseburger to the Big Ben Burger, the Burger Barn’s signature burger. Plus, many of the ingredients and menu items are locally sourced and fresh, ensuring every bite is delicious.
Of course, there are many other tasty menu items you can choose from if you aren't in the mood for a hamburger. We suggest trying chicken tenders, a sandwich, or a corn dog.
Although, if you really want to try something different, order some exotic meat. This meat changes each month and may be anything from camel to buffalo to elk.
And nothing completes a meal at the Burger Bar in Roy like a thick and delicious milkshake. If you aren’t in the mood for a shake, try an ice cream float or a sundae. Either way, you can't go wrong.
