Are you ready for a dining adventure unlike any other? Snowbird hosts its Full Moon Dinner every month, and it’s absolutely spectacular. There’s one coming up soon, and you won’t want to miss it.
As the sun sets over Snowbird on January 20, 2019, the skiers and boarders will pack it in for the day, and darkness will settle in over this snowy landscape. But by 6:30 p.m., hungry diners will be showing up for the first Full Moon Dinner of 2019.
You'll find Snowbird at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Your evening begins when you board the tram. Boarding starts at 6:30, 6:45, and 7 p.m.. Take a ride up, up, up to 11,000 feet, where you'll disembark at The Summit Restaurant. You'll be on top of the world here!
The Summit Restaurant sits atop Hidden Peak, and it's an absolutely stunning venue.
If you've ever dined at The Summit during the day, then you know how beautiful this setting is. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are incredible. Of course, as long as the weather's clear during the Full Moon Dinner, you'll be treated to endless stars and a beautiful, full moon.
You'll love the communal dining here, and you'll likely make some new friends during your meal. Dinner starts at 7:30, and musicians will keep the atmosphere lively while you dine.
This month's meal includes your choice of red curry salmon, grilled chicken with artichokes, brown butter acorn squash, or roast strip loin of beef from the carving station. You'll also enjoy beef stew, salad, hummus, or shrimp cocktail to start your meal, and a delicious dessert to finish it.
If you're looking for an adventurous dining experience you'll want to reserve your seat now for the January Full Moon Dinner at The Summit. Tickets are $75 for adults; $45 for children ages 7 to 12, and $25 for children ages 6 and younger.
While the price of this dinner may be a bit more spendy than your local restaurant down in the valley, we think it's worth the price for this one-of-a-kind dining experience. Leave the kids at home and treat yourself to a special meal under the full moon.
You’ll need reservations for the Full Moon Dinner, so call 801-933-2181 to book your table now. Visit Snowbird’s website for more information.
