There’s nothing like a relaxing day at the spa, but you’ve probably never had a spa day like the one you’ll have at Fish Kiss Fish Spa in Provo. Not only will you be able to enjoy an amazing atmosphere with your friends and family, but you will also be able to participate in our main attraction, the FishKiss Experience, known as a fish pedicure. Need some more clarification? Take a look at what it’s like to visit this one-of-a-kind fish spa in Utah.
There's a unique new spa in Provo, and you're going to want to visit. You'll find Fish Kiss Fish Spa at 32 S. Freedom Blvd., Provo, UT 84601.
Fish Kiss has aquariums full of Garra rufa, more commonly known as "Doctor fish." These tiny fish are native to Middle Eastern countries, and they've been used in spas in places like Thailand for decades. This little spa has brought the concept of fish pedicures to Utah, and it's gaining popularity.
You'll start in a special room, where a technician rinses off your feet to prepare them for your fish pedicure. After your fish kiss treatment, you'll come back to this room for another, final cleansing rinse and a warm towel wrap.
Then you'll head to the aquariums, where you'll plunge your feet right in with the fish. The little doctor fish use their super-strong lips to nibble the dead skin off your feet. Some people think it tickles; other say it feels like sticking your feet into a vat of warm, carbonated water with lots of bubbles.
Fish Kiss Fish Spa is open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.. It's closed on Sunday. The fish pedicure is just $15.
