There’s really nothing better than an ooey, gooey pizza pie, and Utah has lots of great pizzerias all across the state. There’s one place in particular that you’ll want to go if you have a huge appetite… but even the heartiest eaters will probably have trouble finishing the Monster Pizza at Firehouse Pizzeria.
Firehouse Pizzeria has four locations: Logan, Smithfield, Bear Lake, and Brigham City. No matter which one you visit, you can order a special pizza that's so huge it barely fits on the table.
They'll make it up for you with a different topping or specialty pizza toppings in each quarter, so if you're ordering this beast for a large group, everyone can get what they want.
If you're dining at the pizzeria, you can take the Monster Pizza Challenge. The 36-inch Monster Pizza costs $45, which is really a bargain when you consider how much pizza you're getting — that works out to be just $9 per large pizza.
This challenge allows you to have a buddy help you consume as much of the pizza as you can in two hours. If the two of you manage to eat half the pizza, you get 50% off, and you can take the rest home to feed your family for an entire week. If you eat the whole pizza, you'll both get a free lunch every week for an entire year.
Monster Pizza aside, the pizza, breadsticks and salads here are delicious. If you don't want to try to consume a pizza as large as the table, you should still visit and get a normal-sized pizza...
...and then maybe you'll have room for The Cookie Monster! It's three times bigger than the regular FH'zzookie dessert. Get your choice of chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, English toffee, or triple chocolate cookie piled high with scoops of ice cream, chocolate, and caramel syrup. Yum!
