Bryce Canyon National Park is one of the Beehive State’s most treasured gems. While you could just drive along the rim and check out all the overlooks, the best way to explore the park is by hiking on one of its many trails. The Fairyland Loop Trail takes you right down amongst the hoodoos and spires, and it’s just like entering a fairytale.
The Fairyland Loop Trail is a strenuous, 7.8-mile trail, but it's well worth your effort.
You'll also want to make sure you have a camera with you, because the views are amazing. Take your time on this trail. It's not as crowded as others, and there are many opportunities for photography along the way.
You'll get a beautiful view of Tower Bridge - a gorgeous rock formation made of hoodoos and two natural arches. Make sure to take the short spur trail to get a good look.
When hiking the trails at Bryce, it's often good to have a pair of traction cleats for your hiking boots. During winter months, they're especially helpful.
