There are plenty of ways to have some family fun in Utah’s great outdoors, but sometimes you want to enjoy some indoor time, too. No matter what the weather is like, an afternoon at Doc Brundy’s Delectable Diversions will take you right back to the good old days. Check it out:
Welcome to Doc Brundy's Delectable Diversions. Put your cell phones away and step inside for a retro blast to the past.
Address: 260 North Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT 84660
You'll want to spend an entire afternoon here, playing the old-fashioned way. The game lounge includes Utah's largest pinball arcade, with more than 50 machines.
You'll pay for all your playing time right from an app on your phone! Just touch your phone to the tag on the machine to start playing. You can pause your play at any time, and if you don't have a phone, or don't want to use yours, Doc Brundy's has a bunch ready to go.
Have you ever played duckpin bowling? Probably not, since this is the only duckpin bowling lane between Seattle and Denver.
The game is very similar to bowling, but it's played with a much smaller ball (these are about the size of a large grapefruit). It also has 10 pins instead of 9. The pins are also smaller.
Duckpin bowling was invented in the early 1900s, and it's a blast! Most people think it's easier to play than regular bowling, and its definitely fun for the whole family.
All this retro fun makes everyone in the family hungry, and luckily Doc Brundy's has a menu that's full of tasty food and treats. Try one of the delicious burgers, salads, and sandwiches on the menu.
