Utahns look forward to the outdoor concerts at Deer Valley all year long, and they’re back for 2021! There’s no better way to spend a beautiful summer evening, so check out the calendar now and choose some performances to attend.
We missed outdoor concerts in 2020, but this summer, Deer Valley Resort is hosting the Utah Symphony and several musical artists again. The venue will have a reduced capacity of 3,500 music lovers this year.
You'll want to arrive early to claim your spot on the mountain. Spread out your blanket or set up your chair; this year, there won't be designated sections for either. You're welcome to bring a cooler with food and drinks, including wine or beer.
Chair seats must be less than nine inches from the ground.

If you'd rather not drag your cooler up from the parking lot, you can always hit the concession stand for snacks and drinks. You'll typically find fresh-baked pastries, candy, and other tasty snacks.
Another great dining option is a gourmet picnic bag from the resort. You'll need to place your order in advance by 5 p.m. of the day prior to your concert.
The Utah Symphony will offer five concerts in July and August, featuring artists including Capathia Jenkins, Kool and the Gang, Kristin Chenoweth, and the Beach Boys.
In addition to symphony performances, the resort will offer concerts by other musical artists. Indigo Girls is slated to perform on August 14th, and the Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats with Delta Spirit concert will be held on August 20th.
More concerts will be announced as the dates are confirmed, so make sure to visit the resort's website.
It's time to enjoy cool concert evenings in the mountain air again! Gather your friends and family and make plans soon to attend - tickets will go fast.
