Utahns love their burgers, fries, and shakes, and as a result, we have a seemingly-endless array of hometown drive-in restaurants. You can get a thick shake at this drive in located in Millcreek, or head down to St. George to visit this classic that’s been open since 1965. There are even drive-ins that still offer car hop service, like this little gem in Fillmore. Basically, if you’re looking for a tasty burger, you’re sure to find it in the Beehive State.
If you’re extra hungry, you might want to head out to Tooele, where you can dine on a burger that’s as big as your head. Check out Dairy Delight:
Dairy Delight has been serving hungry customers in Tooele for decades, and it's still going strong. You'll find this little gem at 46 W. 1st S., Tooele, UT 84074.
This little drive-in isn't very fancy, but it's a favorite with locals and visitors alike. The homemade burgers, fries, tots, and shakes keep 'em coming back again and again.
The Old Fashioned is a huge, half-pound burger that's as a big as your head. You can get it as a hamburger, cheeseburger, or add bacon. It's dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo and ketchup. A simple, but tasty burger that will definitely fill you up.
Don't worry - if you're more inclined to order a burger that you can actually hold in your hand, you can try one of the quarter-pound burgers. They're fresh off the grill, and every bit as delicious as the Old-Fashioned.
