Utah’s skiers and boarders are in heaven here with plenty of snow at our beautiful mountain resorts. If you’re interested in shorter lift lines and lower prices, there’s a lesser-known resort that not everyone knows about. Check out Cherry Peak Resort this winter:
Utah's newest ski resort is located way up north in the Bear River Mountains, near Richmond. Its first season was the winter of 2015-2016, and this little gem just keeps getting better every year.
The resort's address is 3200 E. 11000 N., Richmond, UT 84333.
The resort encompasses more than 250 acres, and has three chairlifts. With 30 percent green runs, 45 percent blue runs, and 25 percent black diamond runs, you'll find terrain for skiers and boarders of every skill level.
The littlest guests at Cherry Peak have a blast here, too. The Magic Carpet carries them right up the hill, without worrying about learning to get on and off the chairlift.
Cherry Peak's Ski School is a great place to learn to ski or board. Lessons start at just $60, and include a half-day lesson, full-day ski equipment rental, and full-day mountain pass.
Lift lines up here are much lighter than those at Utah's bigger resorts, and the lift tickets are more affordable. Adult full-day passes are just $40, and night skiing will set you back just $22. Students and kids ski for even less.
Have you visited Cherry Peak yet? We’d love to know what you think! For more info, visit Cherry Peak’s website, and make sure to follow the resort’s Facebook page to see the latest snow totals.
