Utah is a hiking mecca – we have thousands of hiking trails to choose from. Some trails are steep and strenuous – others are so easy that you can even take your grandma along (and if she’s anything like my grandma, you’ll have to just about run to keep up!). No matter what your skill level, it’s always wonderful to get out and enjoy Utah’s natural beauty.
Today, we’re featuring a trail that’s perfect for the entire family – it’s ADA-accessible and you can take even the smallest children with you. The best part? It’s one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Beehive State!
The Cascade Springs Interpretive Trail is located along the Alpine Loop. It's 18 miles up American Fork Canyon.
The walk from the upper parking lot may be a bit more difficult to traverse. If you have small children in your party, or need an ADA-accessible trail, start at the entrance to the loop, from the lower parking lot.

You'll find nice, wide paved paths and bridges along the entire loop, which is about .7 miles long.
