We love to explore Utah’s family-owned restaurants, and every once in awhile we’re surprised to find something unexpected. Who knew that the little town of Logan was hiding one of the Beehive State’s best Cajun restaurants? If you’re craving some authentic gumbo, crawfish boil, and even gator, you’ll want to make the trip up north to visit MayMoes.
MayMoes got its start in the spring of 2016, when Jason Davis opened up his restaurant in a gas station in Logan. Originally from Louisiana, Davis brought a long history of restaurant experience and a wealth of Cajun and Creole recipes with him.
Two years later, the restaurant moved from its original location to a new spot at 981 S. Main Street.
MayMoes is a casual restaurant that offers some of the best Cajun and Creole cooking in the Beehive State. You'll want to come back several times to explore all the spicy, authentic flavors of the South.
Try one of the PoBoy sandwiches on the menu. The shrimp is a popular choice, but you can also sink your teeth into pulled pork, smoked chicken, catfish, and more. The buns are flown in from a bakery in Louisiana.
Enjoy your tasty Louisiana-style lunch or dinner in a cozy booth at the restaurant, or get it to go. You can order online on the restaurant's website for carryout or curbside pickup.
Have you dined at MayMoes? What’s your favorite item on the menu? You can see the full menu on the MayMoes website, and keep an eye on what’s new there on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
