Have you ever had seafood boil here in Utah? It’s a pretty rare thing to find this far west of the Mississippi, but it’s a seafood lovers delight. There’s a restaurant in West Valley City serving up Cajun-style seafood boil with a Vietnamese twist, and it’s the most flavorful feast ever. Check out Bucket O’ Crawfish:
Seafood boil is a commonly-found feast on the east coast, but it's a culinary treat many Utahns have never tried. You'll find it at Bucket O' Crawfish in West Valley City.
First choose your seafood. Choices include crawfish, shrimp, snow crab, Dungeness crab, clams, or mussels. Then choose your flavor: Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, or crazy mix. Then, tell 'em how hot you like it: mild, medium, hot, or crazy hot.

As you make your way to the dining room, you'll notice that the tables are all covered with sheets of plastic. You're about to find out why!
Dump out your seafood boil right onto the table to enjoy. Peel your shrimp, crack your crab legs, or remove your oysters or clams from their shells and put them in the bucket, then savor all that flavorful goodness!
Less adventurous eaters might want to try a basket instead of a bucket. You'll find fried shrimp, catfish, and calamari on the menu, as well as Cajun wings and po' boy sandwiches.
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday noon to 8:30 p.m.
