The art of blacksmithing has been around since at least 1350 B.C., but with today’s mass-produced products, we don’t get to see hand-crafted items as much anymore. There are still some blacksmith shops around, and there’s one down in Kanab that will teach you how to make your very own item. You’re going to love playing with fire here!
Come play with fire at Blacksmith Adventures in Kanab. They'll teach you everything you need to know to craft a small item with blacksmithing tools.
Blacksmithing is for everyone! The classes offered here are open to people of any age, with any experience level - including people who have never even stepped foot into a blacksmith shop.
Then, plunge your piece into the vat of cold water, let it cool, and polish it up. Depending on the class you take, you'll make a key ring, bottle opener, hook, or mountain man skinning knife.
Blacksmith Adventures has all the protective gear you need, and provides plenty of instruction along the way. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes - that's all you need.
Classes vary from a short half-hour course to a full day of blacksmithing fun. Most classes are limited to four people, but larger groups are allowed with special reservations.
Classes start at just $45 per person. Whether you're planning date-night, a fun family activity, or a party with your friends, this is a unique adventure that everyone is sure to love.
