It’s time for a weekend getaway with the family. Pack your bags and head to Beaver, Utah. Instead of lounging on the couch with Netflix, or other devices, enjoy the fresh air with this active vacation. Beaver may be a small town, but it has plenty of things to do for all ages. Head out on the slopes in the winter months, go mountain biking or even visit the cows.

Located on Center Street near Main Street, the Opera House was built in 1908 and made Beaver a cultural beacon in Utah. Its classical building is made of pink tuff. The Opera House was later used for community events, later renovated as a movie theater and then turned over to the Utah National Guard until 1955. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
