Utah State University is well-known for its Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences program. With dairy comes ice cream, and USU has been making some of the best ice cream in the state since 1888.
The Aggie Creamery serves all kinds of tasty treats. Take a look:
The first creamery at Utah State University was established in the late 1800s. Today, the school continues to be at the forefront of dairy technology and education.
The Aggie Creamery is one of the most popular places on campus, but you don't need to be a student to visit! Locals and visitors to Logan love to stop by for a cold, creamy treat.
The premier flavor here is Aggie Blue mint. It's a delicious mint ice cream that also has generous chunks of white chocolate and cookies. Enjoy some at the creamery, and be sure to take some extra home to put in your freezer.
After you've enjoyed your ice cream onsite, ask them to hand-pack a pint or quart of your favorite flavor to take home. With 20 flavors to choose from, you'll have a hard time deciding, so maybe you'll need more than one.
The creamery is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday til 9 p.m. The Creamery closes for cleaning every day from 2 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., and again from 5 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
