Located right in Los Angeles County, this California eatery creates amazing donuts that have been taking over social media with their whimsical and flashy aesthetic. Right in the city of Downey, Donas is a Mexican-infused donut shop that's different from what you're used to feasting on.
With the creation of their glitter-topped donuts, Donas has gained quite the large following and presence on social media with their eye-catching treats.
Their most famous donut? The Bidi Bidi Bom Bom - a purple, honey lavender donut that's topped off with glitter and meant to make you think of Selena and her famous purple jumpsuit!
This isn't the only glitter donut that they have though! Donas also has a lemon glazed gold glitter donut and silver glitter donut that will have you wondering why all the food you eat isn't sparkling with this much excitement.
More than just your average donut shop, Donas has unbelievably great-tasting milkshakes, donut ice cream sandwiches, and Mexican-inspired donuts like their Chocolate Abuelita and Chocolate Mazapan donut that's topped with mazapan crumbs.
Donas may be open almost every day of the week, but you'll want to keep in mind that they often sell out fast and close early when they've run out of donuts. Helpful tip? The earlier you can arrive, the better. The colorful mom and pop shop draws in people with its glitter donuts, funky atmosphere, and photogenic decor. Wondering when you should plan a trip here? Their current hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m..
