If you’ve ever wanted to explore the Upside Down for yourself, here’s your chance. There’s a massive corn maze hidden in Indiana that’s inspired by the Netflix hit Stranger Things , and its the perfect way to get excited for fall.
This huge Stranger Things maze is located at Exploration Acres in Lafayette, Indiana.
The maze spans a mind-boggling 20 acres and features so many twists and turns that you’ll swear you’ve strayed into another dimension.
The maze is packed with false paths and more than a few surprises.
Unlike most corn mazes, this one wasn’t made by hacking out a design into a normal cornfield. It was actually planted using special GPS equipment that determined where to plant the corn seeds.
Rewards from 25 advertisers are hidden throughout the maze, so don't forget to look around every corner.
As you find each reward, punch your map to claim your treats. Only the truly dedicated will be able to find them all in the maze’s 10 miles of paths.
You can explore the maze during the day or stop by at night for a spookier experience.
If you opt for the night experience, be sure to bring a flashlight and a good measure of courage. If you forget your flashlight, the farm has some for purchase.
Once you’re done in the maze, head over to the farm’s other great attractions.
There’s nothing more fantastically fall than pumpkin picking, and Exploration Acres has a great pumpkin patch with more than 38 varieties of pumpkins to choose from. You can find a tiny one for your kitchen table or even take home a 200-pounder.
There are plenty of cool activities that the kids will love.
Try out the straw tunnel , dive into the massive straw mound, build something cool in the sand pit, or fly down the tube slide. This slide is 35 feet to the bottom and kids will want to do it again and again.
Don't forget to stop by the Country Store to purchase some treats and crafts from local artisans.
There are plenty of baubles and gifts that will transform your home into a fall haven, plus tasty goodies to snack on during the car ride back.
This Stranger Things maze in Indiana should be a road trip destination this year for sure.
