This iconic building in New York City has a gruesome rumor of being haunted by a headless ghost. This man, once an actor, donated his head to science. Apparently he wanders the premises still looking for his skull.

Following the English Gothic architectural style of the 14th century, this cathedral in the nation's capital is truly a sight to behold. It's believed that the only president to be buried here, Woodrow Wilson, roams the aisles at night. The tapping of his cane can still be heard echoing throughout the church.

The St. Louis Cathedral is one of the most recognizable sites in the city of New Orleans. Since 1965, the church has been flooded with reports of hauntings. It was this same year that 6 bodies were mysteriously left on the steps. The bodies were buried but their spirits continue to make their presence known.
Even the beautiful grounds of this tropical church in Key West aren't safe from haunted spirits. Apparently, a ghost appearing in outdated clothing roams the graveyard at night. Others have seen the ghost of a sea captain nearby.

Built in 1886, this church was deserted by 1917. Folks nearby have reported hearing sounds that suggest the building isn't completely abandoned, though. Voices of the congregation and a woman singing can still be heard today by some.
