One of the best things about staying at a hotel is enjoying the pool, and you can find some pretty amazing swimming pools in the country’s most luxurious hotels. Here’s a hotel that has a gorgeous swimming pool with a few added advantages – it’s surrounded by stunning natural beauty, and it’s also the world’s largest hot springs pool. If you haven’t visited Glenwood Hot Springs in Glenwood, Colorado, it’s time to book your trip.
Glenwood Hot Springs Resort was first built as a small resort in 1888.
Dubbed the "Spa of the Rockies," this resort now boasts the largest hot springs pool in the world. You'll find the resort at 415 E. 6th St., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
These mineral-rich waters were recognized for their healing powers by the Ute Indians who once lived here, and you'll benefit from the healing properties, too.
The hot springs pump 3.5 million gallons of water every day, and these waters contain 15 minerals that will relax your tired muscles and reenergize you. The minerals are absorbed through your skin and offer many different benefits. For instance, the calcium in the water promotes bone growth, and the sulfate relieves pain and helps your body produce collagen which leads to glowing skin, and thick, healthy hair.

Set against the beautiful, rugged Rocky Mountains, this pool is the length of two city blocks.
The main pool is a jaw-dropping 405 feet long, and holds 1,071,000 gallons of water. The temperature of the big pool is a constant 90 degrees, which is perfect for splashing and playing. The smaller pool is considered a "therapy pool," and it's all about the soaking here. The temperature is maintained at 105 degrees, and it's 100 feet long, with 91,000 gallons of mineral-rich water.

As if the huge pool wasn't enough, there are also two exciting waterslides that drop you four stories as you twist and turn through the tunnel along more than 300 feet.
