Experiencing the Grand Canyon is on nearly every traveler’s bucket list, yet the fact that this landmark is so popular often deters people from making the trip. Fortunately, there are ways to avoid the crowds, and one of the primary ways to do so is by visiting during the offseason. Here’s more on why fall is truly the best time to visit the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon is truly a bucket list destination. Boasting 277 miles in length and 18 miles at its widest, this canyon is a remarkable corner of the world and one that draws visitors from all over.
And while it's always enjoyable to experience the Grand Canyon with family and friends, you most likely prefer to experience this natural wonder without the crowds.
Considering the fact that summer is the Grand Canyon's peak season for visitors, hikers, and tourists, the months of October and November are relatively uncrowded.
Visit during the fall season and you can also enjoy the added benefit of cooler temperatures during the day. You may not see tons of fall foliage, but you will enjoy uninterrupted views for as far as the eye can see. What could be better?
