However, travel prices are on the rise and vacations are becoming more expensive than in years past. I am a frugal individual who sticks to my budget religiously, but I also love to travel. Fortunately, I have found several affordable vacation spots in the U.S. where you and I won’t break my budget and I won’t spend my entire vacation worrying about finances. The following are 12 of the most affordable U.S. travel destinations. So, pack your bags, and don’t worry about pinching pennies!

You also don’t want to miss Ecola State Park. Here, you can hike to a view of historic Tillamook Rock Lighthouse and even visit Indian Beach, where you may catch glimpses of brave surfers. Spend the night camping at one of the park’s 16 campgrounds and stare up at the night sky for breathtaking stargazing opportunities.
