Out near Franklin and Whitman Counties, the state park's main attraction is its 200-foot tall waterfall that sits along the Palouse River. It's a historic and gorgeous state park that covers just over 100 acres, and you'll find the perfect overlook area here that gives you a magnificent view of the falls and winding river.
6. Hanging Lake - Colorado
Considered to be one of America's most pristine lakes, the unique scenery that's hidden away all around Hanging Lake is otherworldly. The lake's gorgeous turquoise water will leave you speechless and while you can certainly soak in the scenery, visitors are not allowed to touch or go in the water. A rule that's enforced to make sure the lake's ecosystem stays protected, anyone who visits this natural wonder of Colorado is asked to clean up after themselves and to be respectful of Mother Nature.
