This New Plane Has No Middle Seats And Looks Like A Shark
Raise your hand if you love the middle seat. No takers? That might be why this new aircraft does away with the least popular spot on every plane. Also, it looks like a shark.
Embraer is catering to middle seat haters by releasing their new E190-E2 jets. The planes have four rows of seating, two on either side of the aisle. This might be a familiar configuration for those used to flying on smaller planes, but these jets are specifically designed to make passengers feel as if they are on a larger aircraft.
The planes are also painted in eye-catching shark designs and burn 17 percent less fuel than the older model. In fact, they’re the most efficient single-aisle planes in the skies.
Though the new jets are currently only being operated by Scandinavian airline Widerøe, they will be coming to the United States soon for domestic flights across the country.
