Most people associate sunflowers with summertime, but here in Texas, they flourish just as beautifully during autumn. Wild Berry Farm in Sadler boasts thousands of the vibrant blooms in addition to a fall festival that’s fun for the whole family.
Fall is blooming season at Wild Berry Farm, where seemingly endless acreage comes alive with thousands of eye-popping sunflowers. These vibrant crops aren't just for show; visitors can cut and assemble their very own bouquet.
Even if you aren't looking to pick anything, the whole family will surely enjoy prancing through the eye-popping field. It's structured almost like a maze, twisting and turning until you forget which way leads back out. Kids are known to have a blast playing hide and seek!
Speaking of mazes, the annual fall festival is in full swing. Among many other family-friendly activities, it features a massive corn maze that poses a challenge to young and old alike.
Homegrown pumpkins and gourds are, of course, a large part of the celebration. Unlike the perfectly manicured orange spheres that you'll find in stores, each one of these is entirely unique. No matter what shape, size, or color you prefer, rest-assured nobody leaves the farm empty-handed.
Don't even think about leaving before taking advantage of this adorable photo-op. Professional photoshoots are also allowed on the farm, with a rate of $25 during open hours and $85 for a private session.
If you have time, stick around until the sun begins to set. Something about a dim autumn glow blanketing the field casts a magical aura that simply makes you never want to leave.
