What better way to bring a fairytale to life than by vacationing in a treehouse cabin? Live Oak is a whimsical bungalow just seven minutes from the heart of Fredericksburg, but its remote location high in the forest canopy will have you feeling like the last person on earth.
One of two cabins at HoneyTree Farm, Live Oak is a whimsical bungalow on the pristine Palo Alto Creek. It's situated amidst a grove of trees, affording guests the opportunity to intertwine themselves with nature.
Bright and cozy, the treehouse features an open floor plan with great flow. In the living area, a leather loveseat and coffee table on a cowhide rug promote quality time and relaxation. The bohemian-chic decor adds to the laid-back vibe and truly makes the space feel like home.
A quaint kitchenette is fully equipped with a full-size sink, microwave, mini-fridge, hot plate, water kettle, and Keurig coffee maker. Essentials like pots and pans, utensils, dishes, cups, and glasses are also provided so guests can cook their favorite meals.
Heading into the bedroom, your eyes will immediately settle on the luxurious king mattress. Organic cotton sheets plus an elegant mosquito net and twinkling lights foster the best night's sleep you could possibly hope for.
Straight out of a fairytale, this book nook is an enchanting hangout spot that invites guests to curl up and escape reality for a spell. With a captivating read in-hand, journey into the world of fiction as you watch the surrounding oaks gently sway in the wind.
Perhaps the most unique aspect of the entire cabin is the outdoor tub. It's enclosed by a tin privacy wall on three sides, with the open portion looking out on the creek. There's also a separate indoor bathroom with a rejuvenating double-headed shower.
Outside on the upper deck, a hammock is the ideal spot to take it easy. Kick back in total chilled-out bliss as you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic Texas Hill Country.
