Nestled in the heart of downtown Madisonville, Walkers Cafe is a restaurant and vintage soda fountain where the spirit of the good old days is alive and well.
The atmosphere isn't the only thing that's old-school at Walkers - prices have barely budged over the years, either. Check out the sign for 25-cent coffee!
Inside, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a good old-fashioned, all-American diner.
From hand-battered chicken-fried steak to thick, juicy burgers to sandwiches piled high with all the fixings, there's no shortage of deliciously down-home options.

If you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, there are seven different salads to choose from.
You can also take a trip to the salad bar and build your own for just $6.99! Burgers sans bun and grilled chicken are a couple of the other healthier menu items available.
All-you-can-eat, the plates are served either grilled or fried and come with coleslaw or a side salad, French fries, hush puppies, and pinto beans (upon request.)
You can also opt for just the catfish if shrimp isn't your cup of tea, or forgo the all-you-can-eat option and order two or three fish filets instead.
