It’s never too early to start making your summer plans, and boy, do we have one to add to your bucket list this year. Sea Trek is the coolest underwater attraction you’ll ever experience, and you get to do it at one of the most popular waterparks in Texas. Check it out:
Welcome to Schlitterbahn South Padre Island, one of four of the waterpark's locations in Texas. In addition to having over 10 attractions and an entire indoor area with slides and children's rides, there's one very special activity that sets this park apart from any other in the state...
...Sea Trek! It's the world's best underwater helmet-diving experience, and this is the only place in Texas that offers it. With the helmets, you can breathe normally, wear your glasses or contacts, and feel no different than if you were walking on land!
The aquarium is full of hundreds of sea creatures ranging from stingrays to fish to crabs. It's an interactive way to learn more about the aquatic life that calls the South Padre area home.
Set up like a pirate's cove, children will especially love sitting next to the matey himself and having their pictures taken. Memories you'll cherish forever will be created here!
You can snorkel or even walk on the bottom of the tank due to the fact that there's zero gravity inside. Defying the laws of physics isn't something you can do at any old waterpark!
Time slots fill up quickly because of the rarity of the attraction, so I'd make a reservation ASAP if I were you. Call 956-772-SURF to reserve your spot.
So, what do you think? Is walking underwater and getting up-close-and-personal with tons of unique sea creatures at the top of your 2018 bucket list now?
Check out this awesome video of what you’re in for with Sea Trek:
Schlitterbahn South Padre is located at 100 Padre Blvd., South Padre Island, TX 78597. Have you ever done Sea Trek? Is it something you think you’d enjoy? Let us know your thoughts!
