If you’re a theme park enthusiast, Six Flags Over Texas should be next up on your bucket list. One of the coolest rides in the park, Pirates of Speelunker Cave takes you on a boat ride through a cave filled with marauding pirates in search of hidden treasure. It’s a blast for all ages!
A recreation of The Cave, a popular ride at Six Flags Over Texas that operated from 1964 until 1991, Pirates of Speelunker Cave is as nostalgic as it is fun.
The attraction features a six-passenger boat ride through a cave inhabited by Speelunkers, characters that were created specifically for Six Flags Over Texas.
The action-packed, six-minute adventure offers passengers front-row seats to a pirate raid of the Speelunker cave.
Chests are filled with jewels and fine china, and other expensive artifacts make the place look like a castle.
Luckily, there is no height requirement for the ride (provided children are accompanied by an adult), so the whole family can enjoy the experience together.
