For a mythical creature, unicorns sure are popular these days. Food items, home decor, and everything in-between is being overrun by the vibrant whimsy of the magical horse-like beings. This Dallas bakery has fully embraced the trend, with every sort of unicorn-themed treat your imagination could possibly dream up.
Having just opened last month, the buzz surrounding the whimsical Magical Dessert Bar certainly hasn't died down yet. Small children in sparkly tutus and their outwardly reluctant (yet secretly just as excited) parents wait in line for hours to experience the enchantment.
Upon walking in, you'll be greeted by a seemingly endless array of vibrantly-colored treats. Combine that with pale pink walls covered in butterflies and a sparkly chandelier dangling overhead, and you have pure magic just waiting to be discovered.
Each and every baked good pays homage to unicorns. Adorned with impressively realistic decorations and piping techniques, these desserts are a one-way ticket to the fanciful world where these mythical, horse-like creatures live.
Cupcakes, donuts, cake pops, and everything else imaginable not only look adorable, but also taste just like they've been sprinkled with magical fairy dust - or sugar, as us mortals call it.
Behold, the $14.99 Monster Unicorn Vanilla Shake, topped with frosting, sprinkles, cookies, and a whole slice of cake. The price tag might seem a tad steep, but extracting the pastel blood from a rare being is no easy task. Other drinks include pink hot chocolate and fresh-squeezed lemonade with a cotton candy rim.
Entire cakes can be ordered for your next unicorn-themed party. They're certainly a hit with little ones, but the kid in all of us can appreciate this level of cuteness and sheer baking talent.
