Next time you’re ready for a getaway, don’t settle for any ordinary place. Cloud 9 Tree Haus in New Braunfels is a unique treehouse near the Guadalupe River, and it truly looks like something from a whimsical storybook.
Centrally located in the Hill Country town of New Braunfels, Cloud 9 Tree Haus is a quirky, whimsical Airbnb perfect for your next getaway.
One of the first things you'll notice upon entering is the impeccable craftsmanship. It takes a skilled hand to evoke a rustic cabin vibe with woodwork alone, yet this tree branch staircase does so with remarkable ease.
The steps lead up to a loft, which sleeps two in its queen bed. Two fold-out sofas, a full and twin, accommodate three additional guests for a total of five.
A spacious, yet cozy living room encourages relaxation with its comfortable seating arrangements. There's also a flat-screen TV ready to entertain when it's time to start winding down for the evening.
You'll feel right at home in the kitchenette, which boasts pots & pans, a double burner, plates, cups, and silverware to cook and enjoy your favorite meals with. Additional appliances include mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot.
With a weathered steel panel and tree trunk running straight through the ceiling, the bathroom almost feels like a campsite - a very stylish one, that is. A step-in shower and unique, above-counter sink add chic touches to the otherwise simplistic decor.
Your own private balcony is an ideal place to enjoy that ever-important cup of morning coffee in blissful solitude. Rugged branches on the roof and railing impart a tropical theme, and BBQ grill and fire pit underneath the treehouse provide more opportunities for outdoor fun.
Access to the large swimming pool is shared by guests of three other treehouses, a lodge, and two suites also located on the property. There's also a children's mini-playground, a hot tub, and plenty of outdoor seating. The pool even has a swim-up bar with 17 stools (you have to BYOB, though).
