Due to its annual holiday celebration with millions of lights illuminating the historic downtown district, Johnson City has earned itself the title of “Twinkliest Town in Texas.” This tiny town of just over 2,000 residents does Christmas Texas-style, filling every inch of three whole blocks with sparkly, magical cheer.
