Hunger comes in a lot of different forms. Sometimes you just want a snack. Other times you’re in need of something substantial. Something that’s going to fill your belly and keep you satisfied for hours. When that kind of hunger hits, only one thing will work, and that’s a burger. Whether you like things simple with just lettuce and tomato or you want something with toppings you’ve never even considered before, this spot has you covered.
Toro Burger Bar has a few different locations including a few in the El Paso area, Lubbock, Horizon City, Sunland, and even some in Mexico. Their expansion is impressive for having just gotten their start in 2007. But once you step inside you'll understand why this place is so wildly popular!
Inside you'll find a fun, festive atmosphere with high ceilings and lots of tables. That makes this place great for friends and large families and groups.
But, as much as we love the indoor vibes here it's the food we keep coming back for. Even the simple burgers are so much more than "simple." Dig into a Toro Burger which has Angus beef, pepperjack cheese, avocado, and their famous toro sauce.
There are more than 20 different burgers on the menu and that doesn't even include the customizations you can make. When you factor that in, the options are endless. This one is the Guacamole Bacon Burger and it features Angus beef, pepperjack cheese, jalapeno bacon, guacamole, and (of course) the toro sauce we love.
And, of course, if you're up for a challenge we can't forget about the Fiery Green Chile Cheeseburger with Angus beef, pepperjack, fried onion strings, green chile cream sauce, diced jalapenos, toreados, and crispy fried whole green chile. This is one of those meals you'll be talking about for a long time.
When you're done ordering your burgers, remember to get ready for their famous s'mores which come in a small and large serving. But let's be realistic, you definitely need the large.
But also, let's not forget that you totally can get two burgers at one time. They're that good.
Toro Burger Bar has 5 different locations (with one in Mexico!) and they’re typically open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
