Ever since 1976 the Sherman Museum has been delighting guests with historical items from Texas' history and beyond. It is located in the historic Carnegie Library which was built in 1914. Jump on in the pool to enjoy the two-story water slides, a 1,200-foot current channel, a diving board, a drop slide, and a tiny-tots area for the little squirts. (Or just pay the $5-$6 entry fee and you are good to go) The aquatic center is open from May until August.

If you love a little jazz in your step, head to the Sherman Jazz Museum to toot your own horn. And enjoy memorabilia from the legends of the jazz world.
